Co-Load Maldives Pvt. Ltd. donated MVR 35,000 to Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC).
The donation is from the staff and the management of Co-Load Maldives Pvt. Ltd and a contribution of the toys sale of Ace Hardware of November 2018. The donation was presented by the Co-Load Maldives’ General Manager – Trade, Mr. Mohamed Haany and received by ARC’s Managing Director Mr. Muruthala Moosa on 6th February 2019.Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organization registered in the Maldives in December 2009. With a mission to protect and promote the rights and well-being of children of Maldives, ARC strives to be the voice of children in the country, advocating for their health, safety, education and wellbeing. Co-Founder and Executive Director, Ms. Zenysha Zaki stated that “ARC\\\'s work with children’s shelters, as well as our advocacy efforts, and nationwide awareness campaigns on children’s rights are only made possible by a very caring community of generous donors including business organizations.” ARC shared information on the current projects carried out and regarding ARC\\\'s Corporate Ambassadorship Program.She also highlighted that the donation will be utilized for campaigns against child abuse, under which awareness raising activities are to be conducted in Male’ and the atolls, targeting children, parents and teachers. Mr. Mohamed Haany revealed that Co-Load Maldives looks forward to working more closely with ARC in future and applauded the excellent contribution from ARC to the betterment of the society.

The awarding of Ace Hardware and home centre 7th Anniversary promotion lucky draw price was concluded on 18th January 2019. The announcement of lucky draw winner was televised live on Sangu TV. The grand prize, F7 motor bike Winner of the lucky draw was Ms.Fathimath Amhaa/ M. Beach Corner.
This promotion was held from December 2018 to 15th January 2019 with a grand celebration. Up to 70% discount was available during the promotion period. A special BBQ was held for Customers of ACE hardware & Home Centre at Rasfannu BBQ area on 30th December 2018. An entry ticket was issued to each customer on all transactions followed on ACE stores from 27th to 29th December 2018. In addition, along with the entry ticket, a coupon was also issued to enter the “win a grill” lucky draw. The winner was announced during the event at Rasfannu and the lucky winner was Ahmed Wishah who won a Kettle Grill from Grill Mark.
